Contribute
As a nonprofit organization, New Home Development Company's work is
funded by a variety of local, state, and federal grants, income
generated by rental properties, and private contributions.
NHDC contracts on a yearly basis with the Four county ADAMhs Board. New
Home Development depends on the ADAMhs Board for half of its operating
budget. NHDC has been awarded grants from the following
agencies/departments: The Ohio Department of Development, The Ohio
Department of
Mental Health and HUD. Since 1991 NHDC has recieved over 3
million dollars from state and federal sources, bringing tax dollars
back to be invested in the four county area.
As an individual or organization, you too can join in the important
work of NHDC. There are many ways to help. Consider one of
the following opportunities:
|
Volunteer
Do you have a few extra hours to share? New Home Development
welcomes individuals to help perform maintainance on our properties. Or
consider donating your time in our offices, clerical volunteer
opportunities are available.

Donate
Here are a few ways you can donate to NHDC. Of course, we always welcome other donation ideas.
Do you have furniture, households items, or small appliances that you
no longer need? Share them with NHDC. Many of our clients come to
NHDC with few belongings and often need furnishings for their new home.
Host a cleaning or hygiene supply drive. Our clients live on
small, fixed incomes making cleaning and hygiene items an expensive
luxury. Donations of these items are greatly appreciated.
Contribute financially to the work of NHDC through monthly, annual, or one time monetary gifts, become
a corporate sponsor, or include NHDC in your estate planning.
